The Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists was founded in 1957 to represents the interests and needs of CRNA Students in the state of Vermont.

Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists awards student scholarship through AANA Foundation Recipient is: Sandra Schuyler  Program: University of New England  AANA Foundation Mission  “Advancing the science of anesthesia through education and research.”  "Established in 1981, the AANA Foundation is a charitable organization devoted to anesthesia research, education and development.  The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.  This annual publication recognizes program and award recipients, outstanding achievements and exceptional giving from corporations, sponsors and individual donors. " The VANA is committed to supporting students.
