NEANA 68th Annual Spring Meeting @ Boston Marriott Burlington

The New England Association of Nurse Anesthetists will hold its 68th Annual Spring Meeting April 10-12, 2015 at the Boston Marriott Burlington.

This annual meeting features industry updates, professional development, continuing education, and a great opportunity to network with your peers.

Join VTANA in April for cherry blossoms and information about the trends and legislative issues related to our professional practice and advocacy.

The Mid-Year Assembly instructs members in regard to legislative issues affecting nurse anesthesia practice, helps them develop skills to become advocates for the nurse anesthesia practice and profession, and enables them to meet with legislative representatives for states and regions. The Mid-Year Assembly is for all CRNAs and student registered nurse anesthetists interested in issues, trends and influences related to practice and professional advocacy.

Critical Incident Peer Support Training @ Spectacular Events Center

Adverse medical events can be devastating!

The Maine Association of Nurse Anesthetists will host “Critical Incident Peer Support Training,” a conference for managers, leaders and providers. The conference will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13 from 8am-4pm at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor, Maine.

This conference will cover:

  • How to emotionally support providers through an adverse medical event
  • How to bring a peer support program into your practice or facility
  • Principles in providing patient apology and disclosures

This course includes 7 CE credits.

VTANA Annual Lobby Day @ Vermont Statehouse

VTANA will host its annual Lobby Day at the Vermont Statehouse on January 29. This annual event gives VTANA the opportunity to promote the work of CRNAs in Vermont’s healthcare system. VTANA members will meet in the Card Room at the Statehouse to talk with Vermont legislators. The event will culminate with the reading of a proclamation to lawmakers recognizing CRNAs in Vermont.

VTANA Business Meeting & Election of Officers @ Michael's on the Hill

The Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists (VTANA) will hold its 2016 Business Meeting and Election of Officers on June 24 at Michael’s on the Hill in Waterbury Center, VT. This meeting will include a VTANA update and the election of our 2017 officers.
